“I started to compose piano at age 13 because it provided me with an outlet that allowed me to truly empty my emotions into something that was creative, constructive and positive .That was 24 years ago. To me, it was not a music theory lesson, rather patterns and combinations of keys that happen to make sense. Combine that with a good ear for music of all types and I found myself bound to making music for life.”

“I started making music because my soul was crying out and the medium at first was graphic but I found that to be limited after I found poetry and hip-hop while locked up. At first, it was the written word but soon discovered that I truly enjoyed my words accompanied with music and to a specific rhythm. So, I began to teach myself to produce my own tracks and make my own beats, and I have never stopped.”
